Why do members allow their Twitter Feeds to get out of control?
Well, the answer to this question is to gain followers. The more members you follow the more follow backs you get. The result is a good follower total but it also means that you can miss the tweets that you really want to see on your feed because there is just so much content being shown from everyone you are following.
Twitter Lists are a really useful feature that allows you to group users together into a specific list. This allows you to then simply view a list as an alternative Twitter feed. You can effectively than only see content for a specific niche and click between niches.
You can have as many lists as you like and then just visit each feed by clicking on them.

To subscribe to a member Twitter list you must first find them. And that takes a little clicking through profiles to find them
Go to the “lists” tab on any user’s page to see if they have any published lists. Be aware that not everyone utilizes this functionality, so you won’t find the lists tab on every profile that you visit, Once you have found a list that you want to start following, click on the title of the list. You will be taken to its main page. On the left side of the screen, you will see an option that allows you to subscribe to the list.
You can also find other lists that a user has created by clicking on the side of the list’s main page.
To unsubscribe from a list, you will need to go to your lists page to find the lists that you have subscribed to. Here you can click back to the list’s main page where you will find the unsubscribe button.
Members can also add you to lists. To see who has added to you go to your list’s homepage and go to the “Member Of.” tab. You will also get notifications when you are added to Twitter lists.
How to create and use Twitter Lists – Final Thoughts
Twitter Lists allow you the opportunity to follow on mass without really having to worry about clogging your feed. As a result, it is really easy to grow your Twitter followers really quickly. Your only limitations are those placed on you via Twitter with regard to how many members you can follow.
You can follow 5000 Twitter accounts total up to 1000 per day. Once you hit the magic 5000 you are limited in the number of additional accounts you can follow. This number is different for each account and is based on your ratio of followers to following.
This ratio is not published by Twitter.
Now it is over to you
